Applied various interaction models and laws of HCI to come up with interaction scenario of a user, socially interacting with friends and family while watching Television. Skills used: C#, WPF, Silverlight, HCI fundamentals @ Framework for Universal Remote Control using Mobile Devices, Dec 2005 – Nov 2006 Developed complete framework for mobile devices, which can be used to create mobile applications to control almost any device via Bluetooth/IR signals. The mobile app can have control parameters for various devices, e.g. Fan, Music System, TV, Air Conditioner etc which would interact with the middle layer server to control these devices using IR or Bluetooth controller. Skills used: MS-Access, C#.Net/Win32 Interop, SQL Miscellaneous Projects * Developed a plug-in DLL for Windows Media Player using its SDK and Win32 API that adds the global hotkeys support in Windows Media Player. * Developed couple of plug-ins for Yahoo Messenger that can send automatic reply if user is away or can set user status from various applications. Also made countdown timer for the same. * Simulated a 3D city in OpenGL which can be traversed through by a mouse and keyboard using OpenGL and VC++ just like any 3D game engine. * Setup first ever private online radio station (with Jukebox) in my college using distributed servers. It was accessed by more than 100 students at a time. Awards and Achievements o 5th in Software Designing Contest held within whole Microsoft with more than 200 entries. o Top 1% in Code4Bill aptitude/programming contest organized by Microsoft at all India level. o Figured in the Dean’s Merit List twice during under-graduation. o Scored a rank of 3199 in IIT-JEE 2003 Mains out of 200,000+ students appeared all over India. o 99.5 %ile in Senior Level Mathematics Olympiad Contest held by DAMT, Delhi in 2001. o 2nd best poster award for final year project in a collegiate level IEEE poster presentation contest. o Have given consultation to few startups to decrease the bounce rate of their websites and increase their advertising revenues.
